Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes
May 13, 2019
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
Quorum was certified. Board members present were Lindsi Kerstetter, Debbie Hill, Jennifer Roberts, and Mary Bohn. Nick Nixon has resigned from the Board.
Minutes from the prior meeting were approved.
Treasurer’s Report (Debbie)
Status on unpaid dues for current year – all homeowners have paid their dues with the exception of the house which is vacant and for which foreclosure was started in February. We will write off the 2019 dues for that house because the homeowners have moved out of state and the cost to collect the dues is more than the amount owed.
Status on unpaid prior year dues for one homeowner – the HOA lawyer has collected and forwarded to us a check for the 2017 and 2018 dues and legal expenses.
There were four house closings in May.
Grounds/Facilities Report
The top of the light pole at the north end of Wild Creek Drive has come off. Nick opened work order 900918477 with OG&E. Lindsi will get the top from Nick and check on the status of the work order.
The sprinklers need to be turned back on for watering. Debbie will text Jim, our sprinkler maintenance person.
There is a dead evergreen at the entrance which we will replace with a redbud tree. We need to get a few quotes and talk to Fernando. Debbie will talk to TLC Nursery.
Fernando needs to clean up the flower beds, spray for weeds in cracks, cleanup and mulch the playground, and determine why the grass along Lone Oak Dr. looks bad. -- Complete
A plan for perennials and annuals at the entrance would be helpful. We have about $3K to spend for the full year. Debbie will work with TLC for recommendations on perennials. Fernando has planted annuals.
Jennifer will ask PSI to grease the gates.
For the vacant house starting into foreclosure, the HOA will need to have the lawn mowed until the financial institution owns the house. Debbie posted on Facebook and has identified someone in the neighborhood to cut the grass front and back for $20 each time, no trimming or edging needed.
The house sold on NW 156th has several fence panels down in back along the canal. We will contact the new homeowner if no action is taken.

Old Business
The Longoria’s back fence is shared with the playground, and they have asked the Board to pay half of the cost to replace that fence The Board has approved a cost of about $400.
New Business – none
Date and time of the next meeting – June 10th at 7:00 at the Hill home, followed by a neighborhood walkaround.
