Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes

April 5, 2021


1. The meeting was held via Zoom and called to order at 7:00 PM.

2. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Katina Smith, Debbie Hill, and Stacy Moorhead.

3. Minutes from the prior meetings were approved.

4. Treasurer’s Report

5. Grounds/Facilities

a. The Board approved the landscaping bid from LPs for 2021 landscaping, and selected the options for 12 yards of mulch for the playground and 30 flats of flowers in the Spring and Fall.

b. Debbie will request that the sprinklers be turned on at the front entrance (complete)

c. Mulch for the playground – LP’s has added 30 bags of mulch and will add 30 more once they receive their order from the supplier.

6. Ad Hoc Committee Reports

i. The Easter decorations and activities organized by one of the committees for 3/27 was a huge success. We appreciate all who made that event possible.

7. Old Business

a. Clickers needed and a gate code change for new homeowners (Watts family) and deactivation of any clickers retained by the Pierces. (Stacy – complete)

b. Work order 9000056390 was opened with OG&E for the street light out at corner of 157th and Wild Creek Dr. (Katina – complete)

c. We have been requested to continue our support of the treatment for the pond, for which the cost is shared among the four neighborhoods bordering the pond. The Board voted to continue our support. Katina will inform the coordinator of our intent to continue (complete)

d. Car parked on the street at night for at least five days at rental house at 4709 NW 159th. (Mary will send letters to the resident and homeowner – completed 3/17).

e. Katina will check if Jennifer Hinkle’s husband has an emergency gate key as part of his work. Our prior contact in the neighborhood with an emergency key moved out of the neighborhood. (complete)

f. We would like to add information about our committees and activities to the main page on our website. Debbie will ask Bailey Williams for assistance in getting that started (complete)

g. Katina will ask to be added as an admin to the community Facebook page. (complete)

h. The house at 15713 Creek Heights Dr. has been sold to the Gallagher family. Closing was delayed to 3/31 due to schedules for inspections and appraisals. After closing, Stacy will change the gate code to that selected by the new owners. If they have not responded within 10 days of closing, Stacy will deactivate their clickers.

8. New Business

a. The community garage sale is scheduled for May 5th. Any homeowners wishing to participate will need to obtain a city permit.

b. The Board voted to suspend the requirements for trees to allow homeowners time to determine if their trees survived the storm damage. Also, we are aware that the best time to plant trees is in the Fall. The requirement is for at least a 3” caliper tree with height 10-14 feet.

c. The grass at the gate code box will be looked at to determine the best option.

d. Non-compliance letters will be sent to the following due to cars parked in the street (Mary)

i. 4641 NW 158th St. (rental, Cash Coy Holding)

ii. 4629 NW 158th St. (rental, Eric Denneny)

iii. 15909 Creek Heights Dr. (Damayanthy)

e. Non-compliance letters will be sent to the following due to grass height and weeds in the flower beds (Mary)

i. 4701 NW 159th St. (Jeff Richards, Mickey Tate)

ii. 15808 Creek Heights Dr. (owners McNeill)

iii. 15720 Wild Creek Dr. (Skirlock)

f. A Non-compliance letter will be sent to the following due to trashbags blocking the sidewalk (Mary)

i. 4708 NW 157th Terrace (Bai)

9. Date and time of the next meeting – Monday, May 10th at Katina’s house
